Explore Survival on the Water's Edge and learn to survive with Primitive and Improvised trapping and fishing methods. Utilize modern traps and terminal tackle to efficiently catch game. Discover the abundance of foraging and the healing power of Plant Medicine for added resources.

Duration: 3 Days

Limit to 12 Students

Minimum age 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult student registered for this class.

Description: 

• Primitive and Improvised trapping
• Primitive and Improvised fishing 
• Small modern traps for water’s edge trapping
• Terminal Tackle for small fishing kits
• Limb lines

• Foraging and Plant Medicine along the water’s edge 

Students will be expected to be able to walk up to 5 miles on Day 2 to explore the neighboring wildlife area.

REQUIRED OHIO LICENSE: MUST HAVE BEFORE ARRIVING AT CLASS

• February to September (Fishing License)
• October to January (Hunting License)

Due to property insurance restrictions: There will be NO camping on the school property prior to the start of the class or after the class concludes.
