Boltonia asteroides
Native to Maine and much of the US. In late summer, a galaxy of starry white daisies adorn the plant. The individual blossoms are similar to those of asters or fleabane.
Plants thrive in sunny wetlands or in average garden soils. Indigenous to bottom land forests, thickets, wet meadows and prairies, marshes, stream or pond banks and ditches. Great companion plant to Joe-pye weed. Full to part sun. 3-5'. Z3-9.
