8 Liter Espresso Machine Water Softener - Rechargeable

8 Liter Rechargeable Espresso Machine Water Softener

Rechargeable water softener that protects your espresso machine's boiler and plumbing from scale buildup, no cartridge to replace, since you simply recharge it with ordinary rock salt.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Cylinder capacity: 8 L, stainless steel
• Connection: 3/8" BSP
• Dimensions: 400 mm H x 190 mm
• Resin content: 5.8 L
• Regeneration salt: ~1 kg NaCl table salt (not included)

COMPATIBILITY

• Works with: any commercial or prosumer espresso machine plumbed to a 3/8" BSP water supply (an adapter may be required for other hose fittings)

INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly for the plumbing connection, though sizing your resin/recharge schedule to your water hardness and usage is worth getting right, see the manual for details.

PRO TIPS

• Hard water is a leading cause of premature boiler and heating-element failure, scale insulates the heating surface, causing overheating and, in a pressurized system, potential catastrophic failure, so don't skip a softener even if your water "seems fine."
